Family Pathways: Supporting Each Other Through Healing

A family support group for the loved ones of those suffering from substance and mental health challenges.

The purpose of Family Pathways is to provide support and skills for parents, partners, and siblings who love someone suffering from addiction. The education you will receive will help you find emotional balance, so that you are able to enjoy your family and your life again.

Learn effective strategies and coping skills to better support your loved one - join our family group therapy and gain tools to help navigate substance abuse and mental health challenges together.

Family Pathways is held weekly beginning September 26th at 6:00pm. Space is limited, please contact the front desk to sign up.

Addiction Information Series

Addiction Information Series:

Tuesday: 6:00pm-7:00pm


Pricing: By The Session - $20 Per Family/Per Session
Full Series (Four Sessions) - $65 Per Family
Payment must be made in advance. 

Addiction Information Series (AIS) is intended for adolescents, parents, and guardians who want to or are required to learn more about substance abuse. Participants are welcome to attend individual sessions or the entire series. Participants can begin the series at any time as the four sessions are repeated on a continual basis.

Topics covered in the Addiction Information Series include:

  • Understanding substance abuse

  • Understanding how substance abuse affects the family

  • Understanding trauma and how it affects substance abuse

  • Understanding levels of treatment and options

AIS is approved for Norman Public School's Alternative to Suspension Program (ASP).

 

Rules To Be Followed In AIS Sessions:

  • Must Be On Time: No Tolerance For Being Late.

  • Appropriate Clothing: No Drug/Alcohol symbols.

    We use School Dress Code Requirements Here.

  • No Tobacco or Nicotine use

  • Be Respectful. Participate. Have fun!

Other Important Information:

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian (not a brother, sister, or cousin) attend with them. At the end of the 4 weeks, you will receive a certificate of completion that will need to be shown to the school or court if referred through them. Adolescent/Family must complete all 4 sessions and cannot repeat the same session twice. If you need to miss a session, please call ahead of time to coordinate. Any missed session will either be made up when that session comes back around (all are repeated every 4 weeks) or you must contact adolescent therapist to schedule individually.
